My goal is to always make a difference. Doing the same thing over and over, while expecting different results, just doesn't cut it. I don't necessarily believe my approach is the "only way," but simply "a way." I readily confess that I don't have all the answers and sometimes I make mistakes. I only guarantee one thing to my clients. I guarantee to do all that I can to the best of my ability. I'm open to advice and don't hesitate to seek counsel from others. No hoof care provider can do it all by themself. It takes a collaborative, dedicated team to make real progress, especially with severe pathologies. If any one team member is not doing their part, that's one aspect of the process that is being neglected. I like direct people and have no problem being so myself. It saves time and, more often than not, helps to avoid any misunderstanding. You may not always like what you hear, but you may need to hear it anyway. I like to learn and am not afraid to try new things. Don't try to involve me in barn politics. It's above my pay grade and I only care about the horse or horses in my care. If you want an opinion about another hoof care provider's work, make sure he or she is present and I'll be glad to give my opinion, not a judgment. I truly enjoy what I do and aim to keep it that way.
